الشعوب.. استقبل الفريق أسامة ربيع رئيس هيئة قناة السويس، اليوم الأربعاء 12فبراير، السفير ريكاردو إيساسا السفير البنمي في القاهرة، لبحث سبل التعاون المشترك، وذلك بمقر الهيئة بمبنى الإرشاد بمحافظة الإسماعيلية.
تعد الزيارة هى الزيارة الرسمية الأولى للسفير، لهيئة قناة السويس منذ توليه مهام منصبه سفيرا لدولة بنما في مصر.
في كلمته، أعرب الفريق أسامة ربيع عن تقديره لعلاقات الصداقة والشراكة الممتدة مع قناة بنما والتي تدعمها العديد من السمات المشتركة والأهداف الثنائية الرامية لخدمة حركة التجارة العالمية.
وأكد الفريق ربيع على أهمية التشاور والعمل المشترك في ضوء التحديات الجيوسياسية والبيئية التي تفرض نفسها على صناعة النقل البحري، مبديا استعداده الدائم للتنسيق المشترك والعمل لتحقيق المصالح المشتركة.
وأوضح رئيس الهيئة أن قناة السويس نجحت في اتخاذ خطوات جادة نحو الارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات البحرية واللوجيستية المقدمة لعملائها، ودعمها بإضافة حزمة من الخدمات الجديدة التي لم تكن تقدم من قبل مثل خدمات صيانة وإصلاح السفن، ومكافحة التلوث، وإزالة المخلفات، وتبديل الأطقم البحرية.
كما استعرض الفريق ربيع الجهود التي بذلتها الهيئة نحو تطوير خدمات السياحة البحرية، مشيرا في هذا الصدد إلى الخدمات المتطورة التي تقدمها مارينا يخوت قناة السويس بالإسماعيلية كنموذج متميز لمراين اليخوت المصرية المستدامة بمعايير ومواصفات عالمية، ضمن جهود الدولة المصرية لتشجيع سياحة اليخوت ووضع مصر على خريطة سياحة اليخوت العالمية.
من جانبه، أشاد السفير ريكاردو إيساسا السفير البنمي في القاهرة بالعلاقات الممتدة والتعاون المثمر مع هيئة قناة السويس، معربا عن تطلعه لتعزيز التعاون المشترك خلال الفترة المقبلة بتنظيم فعاليات مشتركة.
وأبدى السفير البنمي تطلعه للتعاون بين الجانبين و تبادل الخبرات في مجال تقديم الخدمات اللوجيستية والتسويق لاسيما تسويق خدمات السياحة البحرية التي تقدمها قناة السويس من خلال مراين اليخوت التابعة لها.
في ختام اللقاء، أهدى الفريق أسامة ربيع رئيس هيئة قناة السويس درع قناة السويس الجديدة إلى السفير ريكاردو إيساسا السفير البنمي.
شملت الزيارة، تفقد مارينا هيئة قناة السويس لليخوت في الإسماعيلية، تلاها زيارة متحف قناة السويس.
Adm. Ossama Rabiee Discusses Ways of Joint Cooperation with the Ambassador of Panama
Adm. Rabee: “We emphasize the importance of joint work in light of the geopolitical and environmental challenges that impose themselves on the maritime transport industry.”
Ambassador of Panama to Cairo: “We look forward to mutual cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the fields of providing logistical services and marketing.”

Adm. Ossama Rabiee received, today, H. E. Ricardo Isaza, Ambassador of Panama to Cairo, to discuss ways of joint cooperation, at the SCA’s headquarters, Al-Irshad building, at the city of Ismailia.
The visit is the Ambassador’s first official visit to the Suez Canal Authority since assuming his position as Ambassador of Panama to Egypt.
During his speech, Adm. Ossama Rabiee expressed his appreciation of the extended friendship and partnership relations with Panama Canal, which are backed by many mutual characteristics and bilateral objectives that aim at serving the movement of global trade.
Adm. Ossama Rabiee stressed the importance of consultation and joint work in light of the geopolitical and environmental challenges that impose themselves on the maritime transport industry, expressing his constant readiness for joint coordination and work to achieve common interests.
The Chairman of the Authority highlighted that the Suez Canal succeeded in taking serious steps towards improving the quality of maritime and logistical services provided to its clients to support them through introducing a package of new services that were not previously provided, such as ship maintenance and repair services, pollution control, waste removal, and crew change.
Adm. Ossama Rabiee also reviewed the efforts exerted by the Authority towards developing maritime tourism services, pointing in this regard to the advanced services provided by the Suez Canal Yacht Marina in Ismailia as a distinguished model for sustainable Egyptian yacht marinas with international standards and specifications. This aligns with the Egyptian State’s efforts to encourage yacht tourism and placing Egypt on the global yacht tourism map.
On his part, Ambassador Ricardo Isaza, Ambassador of Panama to Cairo, praised the extended relations and fruitful cooperation with the Suez Canal Authority, expressing his aspiration to enhance joint cooperation during the coming period by organizing joint events.
The Ambassador of Panama expressed his aspiration for joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the fields of providing logistical services and marketing, especially marketing the maritime tourism services provided by the Suez Canal through its yacht marinas.
At the end of the meeting, Adm. Ossama Rabiee, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, presented the New Suez Canal commemorative shield to H. E. Ambassador Ricardo Isaza.
The day included a visit to the Suez Canal Authority Yacht Marina in Ismailia, followed by a visit to the Suez Canal Museum.
